Just look for <key>three_d_building</key> and change this from <false/> to <true/>. After that 3D buildings layer is already enabled by default and you can see 3D buildings on the map. Only you can't switch this layer off anymore, you need again to edit settings_defaults.plist file.

Hey, has anyone tried google local search outside of the original application map? Live in South America and the USA Application's Google local search only runs in the US. Any workaround?

Great, thanks. The British Female non-TTS voice you included works very well. Much more audible to my ears.

These methods don't work with the latest version v2.3 for iPhone any more.

i was able to unlock the maps file but i could not bypass the license authentication even though i edited the host files with ifile. hopefully we will get a solution soon

Yep, been using garmin for a
while, never had a problem installing it. I can't get 2.3 to get past authentification.

Thought I was the only one having issues with the 2.3 upgrade... Had to reinstall 2.2 from an ifunbox backup and restore my favorites...

I had problem to. I run 3 times the instal from the Iphone with no succes , and work well by Itune.
