How to install any Garmin map on Iphone Garmin StreetPilot

Happy New Year guys! and Many thanks for posting this!

I installed the Asia map: Free Malaysia & Singapore GPS Maps - MFM-Garmin and need help on 2 issues.

1) Garmin StreetPilot Crash on Address Search
The app crashes (ie. close and go to iphone home screen) after entering the following:
Where To? -> Address -> House No. -> Street Name
Anyway to make search work without crashing?

2) Integrating JCV file from other maps
MFM-Garmin maps do not have JCV files but the Malsing maps of the same region do have JCV files.
Anyway to make the the MFM-Garmin maps call the Malsing map JCV file for lane assist?

Hi, I'm experiencing the exact same thing with you.. when search address... it crashes and autoclose the apps, other than that everything is working just fine... it's just crashes when I uses the address search function... anyone know the workaround for this particular matter?

Hipercool!, worked sweet, just one question what are jcv files for? what version or kind should I put on garmin app on iphone?

See Screenshots in Post [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Each map has it's own JCV (JunCtionView) file, you must match them up for Junctionview to work correctly.

thanks, but in my case the maps [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] has some jcv files for diferrent gps:

JCV:
D3191020A.JCV for 37XX ( 366.56 MB )
D3192020A.JCV for 2xxx ( 127.99 MB )
D3153030A.JCV for 13xx and 14xx ( 42.08 MB )

which series is similar or known to work in iphone garmin app?
should I try any until works? thanks again

Bigger JCV = higher res & more views. I can use any of those jcv files in my modded 1300. Not sure if that is the case with this iphone app, but probably can use any. If you're not game to try, maybe PM neadrenalin or catymag if they or someone else doesn't post to clarify following this. Later map & JCV available: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

"Jailbreak isn't needed."

Without any need of Jailbreak on my Iphone/ Ipad then how could I install this software into my Ipad if I don't buy this software. I tried and it doesn't work or do you mean that I need to buy this software for $49.99 and then remove US map and use other map I need instead.

im getting the following error just after i open the application.
cant do anything on the app. it gets locked

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

any ideas on how to solve this?

just found that this error only shows when wifi or edge/3g is enabled.

EDIT:

My iPhone is jailbroken 5.0.1 and is displaying the same error message.
Appears when Wi-Fi or 3G connection is active.
With the Internet offline, reinstalling Garmin works perfectly again.
Some found the solution?

hi, if you have jailbroken iPhone, you should install Firewall iP (on cydia) and when the app tries to request access from the net just block it, or if you have not jailbreak, just disable 3g data, and works, sadly when using the app, you will have not net acess, unless you try to unlock with a .unl file via jetmouse keygen, puttin your unit id showed on settings -- general -- about--....

newest version is USA-v2.1.07-FAULTYCLONES I needed to lock net access with cydia firewall ip (does come with usa map, and it is locked) so, remove the maps with ifunbox locating the folder, and if the map is locked try to unlock it with gimgunlock, its fast and easier than ever....
