Thanks catymag--not sure if/when I'll have a chance to see if they'll actually work on an iPhone since I don't know when I'll next be in any of those areas covered by CityXplorer--LOL!

However, I have a thought...or more honestly, a request: can someone who legitimately purchased the Urban Guidance in-app option on their iPhone and got it to work legit wouldn't mind please uploading the following files:

    com.garmin.onboard.***.plist
    Info.plist
    settings_defaults.plist
    settings_general.plist
    settings_navigation.plist
    settings_navigation_no_multimodal.plist
    settings_premium_services.plist
    TargetConfig.plist

I have a sneaking suspicion that purchase of the Urban Guidance option updates one or more of the above plist files, and I'm curious to see if enabling it may be as simple as adding a few lines of code into any of these files.

    Thanks!

Please also be aware that it is possible to view Traffic Cameras--not to be confused with Safety Cameras (i.e., speed/red-light cameras)--with the (traffic) hack enabled; from the Garmin main menu go into Traffic -> myCameras -> Add Camera -> Select a Road; note that this assumes that the (desired) traffic cameras are registered in Garmin's database--i.e., if Garmin doesn't know about it, you won't be able to add it.

Great work tonytone ... I have everything working thanks to your tutorials.

One question - I've used the Garmin USA2.2 ipa and would like to change the default Speed Signs from US block rectangle to Euro/Australia red circles.
I've tried changing the .png files but it still comes up with Speed 60 ... I've read that Nuvi owners have to do a hard reset and enter "locale", but of course , that won't work on an iphone!
Is there a .plist file I need to edit?

    Many thanks again

    Hello,

I bought Garmin USA 2.4.1 (21) recently updated an also updated my iPhone 4s to 6.1.3 and los use of my Venezuela maps (free to download in [url=http://www.gpsyv.net]). I had been unable to install and see my local maps or JB the new iOs version. Is there any way to "fix" it?? Thanks in advance... NB

@ TONYTONE... Have you lost satellite reception with that 2.2 version? I was just yesterday in manhattan, and said, hey let's test the app and signal was lost around midtown :0 just wondering....

Hi all. Thank you for all the information in this thread. Now my 2.2 is working very well with all the features offered. The only thing is that vertical height points and iso-height lines on the map are in feet but I would prefer meters.
Does anyone know how to accomplish that?
