I payed for and was using ondemand in NY last week. I read carefully all 13 pages but all exemples was different of the diretories I have. Thanks for your no help. It continues not working.

StreetPilot onDemand does not use map info 'on board'. It uses the phone's data connection to obtain map information as required:

No, it is not. StreetPilot onDemand is the app with the Green icon. See my answer to your earlier question on April 2. I see from your earlier question that you purchased that app when you were in the USA probably as the 99cent version with monthly subscription and you are now back home (EU maybe?) and looking for a way to keep using it. If that's so, sorry but you can't use that American 'map data on demand' app with any 'on board maps'.Is it possible install mapas on the third ? I successfully uploaded others maps to my iPhone 4S unjailbreak with a purchased Garmin USA. One question though: how can I display Chinese characters on a map in Chinese? I tried copy "Simplified_Chinese.gtt" and "Simplied_Chinese_Trf.gtt" to the text folder and it did not work. All street names that are supposed to be in simplified Chinese are displayed with question marks.

In March 2012 i bought Garmin USA app for iphone.
then i realized that the map is very updated, missing several main streets in my area.
What pisses me off even more is that i have a Garmin map for Mapsource downloaded in late 2011 that's up-to-date!
I've already used the iphone app with custom maps for other countries.
-Will there be a conflict if i use the US Mapsource map in the iphone?
-is there a way to know if and when the Garmin app will be available with a more recent map?

Hi!
I can“t get it to work, every time I install the app on my jailbreaked Iphone 3GS it says (Autentication Failed please check that you have the latest licensed bla,bla,bla)! Have tried several times with different downloads US and WE.
Anyone had the same problem?
What am i doing wrong?
