My experience is if your devices have been updated on any PC already Garmin Express will continue to show the latest 2023.20, if you have a device new or old and you haven't updated yet Garmin Express offer 2023.10.So I assume asprin624 devices were all updated before this issue appeared and Garmin halted the update for now.
Not making a statement to the general public is totally logical as it would cause an out cry, if those that had updated were informed there was a possible problem ,and those that didn't are none the wiser.
My experience with Garmin customer service has always been a positive experience ,but I don't think they will make a statement ,but just delay the roll out until the suspected issue is resolved. Often their issues with updates only effect specific device models.
