Thanks Cnfhbr, you mean the version ported from Asian Asus nuvifone i guess. Did anyone actually get it working on another WinCE device? There's an old thread here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], and there are files attached in it. Maybe there are other threads about it too.

D2339010A.JCV has no connection to this map version. I think it's for some other very old map so don't use it. Read the replies posts 57 and 59 about jcv files for nuvi 765 if that's the unit for which you want a JCV file usable with this map. Also check the link in 59.

There are multiple links for gmap3d.img both locked and unlocked in the initial post and several more in other later posts. Please be specific.

Before we go on a wild goose chase... do not use Internet Explorer for downloads. It is known to be capable of corrupting downloads. Use another browser like Chrome, Firefox or Safari. If still corrupt, please post back. Originally Posted by MevfeM

I am sorry for my ignorance, but I need help. I spent a few days trying to update maps on my car pc (windows 7 ultimate). I have been running Garmin MobilePC latest 5.007 or thereabouts. I can't get the newer maps to display. The last update was gmapprom.img back in 2014 or so.
I used gimgunlock to try and unlock a 2.4 gig and a 1.6 gig image. Is anyone running 2016 or 2017 maps on a mobile PC? Please tell me how.

Garmin MobilePC doesnt support .img greater than 2 gb.
1.6 gb image should work if correctly unlocked.
You have to navigate to get to the good.

There are many unlock tools available. Basecamp wants to read my device, which it can't because it is software only. Is there a top 3 list of unlock tools in use? Maybe the easier one's being a newbie to unlocking maps. There use to be a Jetmouse tool generate a .unl does that still work v1.5?
