true! i have basecamp alsoo,
but I seldom use it, I'll do a test with basecamp,so i dont know why it works well for a slightly smaller card, here it's about 20 meg less

+I also did a test with MapInstall, so there is something else?
I'll do a test with the kit bam-bam IMGunl

so is not my installation, because i downloaded bambam IMG unlocked and is same problem, i give same file at my friend with street pilot 530, same problem, map work well and search address not working

so;
2014.30= 1.98 gig and search mode address working on 8gig SD all work
2014.40=2.09 gig and search address mode not working on 8gig SD
i think is the 2014.40 map have one problem , it is not just 10Meg difference that creates the problem!!
