How have you named the map file? It needs to be gmapsupp.img in the Garmin SD root folder.
Check with GMapTool that it's correctly unlocked and that the MS Flag is set to '0' [zero] and not '1'. BC can't see maps with the flag set to 1.
Some units can only use map images of less than 2Gib. The full NA 2014.40 img is ~2.09GiB.
If you still have problems tell us your unit model and which post you got the img from.

Still nothing shows up in Basecamp. unlocked version downloaded from post 15.
Everything is name and placed correctly.
Basecamp is reporting no detail maps found, chart info is not loading like it used to. Only the name of the usb stick.
Same thing is happening to the Europe 2014.40 unlocked/locked img file. (downloaded from both filehost website as well as torrent)
