please tell me. I have not installed. here it comes

tried on two different computers. no result.
NTU version installed without problems. but this is not install.

Just confirming that install fails with same error. Copying works.

You don't have to install it. Locate the folder named City Navigator Europe NT 2014.40.gmap and place it according to your OS Version:

In Win XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps
in Vista, Win 7/8 - C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps

You'll be able to see it the map in BaseCamp. To unlock it, use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. If you do wish to have registry entries you can create them with PGFT anyway, but not strictly necessary.

I have tried exactly as described but can't have the map show on Basecamp.

Used the locked MS version, unrar the gmap folder, run the Unlock Mapset v2 inside the gmap folder and nothing on basecamp!!!

Can someone describe in detail the process to get this map running on basecamp?
I can't figure it out and I have been running this and reading the forum for a few days now.
