Garmin City Navigator Europe NT(Unicode) 2014.30

Hi

i tried to update my nuvi 2545 with GarminMapUpdater but it did stuck at 80%

so i installed the new version of GarminExpressInstaller and it installed software and map very quickly and fast without problems

i have a question
the map is 2014.30 Western Europe

GarminExpressInstaller used my microsd for the map

may i ask you if it's normal have these files ?
on my nuvi unit i have

i'm confused because i have 2 jvc files and 6 sid files

is normal?

JCV/sid from July belongs to previous release of the map, you can delete them.

but there are severl files dated july , what should i do ? delete all the files created in july , or delete only the jcv/sid

but the updater should delete the old files and update only the new files and keep so previous part of the old map, or?

is there a list of the files of this new map so i can compare it?

Np I moved your post to CNEU NTU thread, here is in topic

D3427080A.sid is of CNEU NTU 2014.10, you can delete it, I dont know D3554080A.sid but I guess is from the same version.

would like to have the full list , so i can delete the old files safly

Files full list depends on your Life Time subscription ,region and model, I dont use Express.
For Mapupdater there is a Setup.log in C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Map Update, where all new downloaded and needed files are listed, files going to be deleted too.
Try to look for it. I guess GE writes something similar.

hi
the last time i used mapuploader it did keep even the old map
i found out to have 2 maps only driving
in short now the garmin update software really suck

i really wonder which jcv would my garmin use!
i have 2 files

Do you think what we change something on maps? Trust us! All error are from Garmin and Navteq and Gods!

no offence, but have you looked at the gmaptool info of some maps here? empty header info, mapset names changed, missing umlauts, ...
If I remember correctly there was also a thread about correct routing depends on img creation software (MS vs. map installer), so I prefer the original images.
