no offence, but have you looked at the gmaptool info of some maps here? empty header info, mapset names changed, missing umlauts, ...
If I remember correctly there was also a thread about correct routing depends on img creation software (MS vs. map installer), so I prefer the original images.

Kenta2 maps are always locked and original, we have a sticky about it in this section, Moderators, if possible, always post original files and we invite uploaders to do the same. Naturally some unskilled users can prefer to download unlocked maps, but we don't recommend it
