I simply click right button on my mouse when I select "Type07.exe" file.
then I select decompress the file and problem solved.
I can have a new folder "Type07"with all files in it including locked IMG gmapprom .
copy this file gmapprom to the same folder with Garmin Image Unlock [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]gimgunlock.exe in it.
select and hold gmapprom then pull this file to gimgunlock.exe
almost instantly IMG unlocked and you can check the file date to verify unlocked.
change the name from gmapprom to Gmap3d and copy it to IPAD to replaced the original file.
mission completed.
NEW 2013.30 maps at your service.

Need some help here. I just downloaded the file for nuvi 40. I extract the exe. I also tried unlocking the gmapprom.img (there is one more gmapprom1.img in it not usre what to do with it) file using gimgunlock.exe. when I put the file in my sd card, the gps doesn't show the map. Anyone can help with this. Thanks.
