Bad news (so far)
The other maps are also released, however the download link saves a file "launcher.exe".
With this the Garmin Updater will be installed (v4.17), checks the connected device and then downloads a complete file to the PC.
Filename didn't lead to the direct link

got the file "Type07" from GARMIN for Nuvi 3790.fast download from GARMIN.
here is the next question please.
How can I get the locked IMG file without connecting any garmin device to PC?

You mean you want to get the official locked img from Garmin without connecting a actual LM device i suppose. If so, get a usb stick or sd card, check it's formatted correctly as FAT32, create a folder named Garmin in root, then copy your device's GarminDevice.xml into it. This 'fake nuvi-stunt double' trick works for conventional mapping downloads in Western Countries so i think it should work for TWN to dl the .exe file. What happens after you get to this page will be the decider:

thanks for your hints Neil.
I simply click right button on my mouse when I select "Type07.exe" file.
then I select decompress the file and problem solved.
I can have a new folder "Type07"with all files in it including locked IMG gmapprom .
copy this file gmapprom to the same folder with Garmin Image Unlock [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]gimgunlock.exe in it.
select and hold gmapprom then pull this file to gimgunlock.exe
almost instantly IMG unlocked and you can check the file date to verify unlocked.
change the name from gmapprom to Gmap3d and copy it to IPAD to replaced the original file.
mission completed.
NEW 2013.30 maps at your service.

Need some help here. I just downloaded the file for nuvi 40. I extract the exe. I also tried unlocking the gmapprom.img (there is one more gmapprom1.img in it not usre what to do with it) file using gimgunlock.exe. when I put the file in my sd card, the gps doesn't show the map. Anyone can help with this. Thanks.
