Ok thanks I had a doubt it could be the original MS with home made install.bat

Your map need an addition in folder to be installed or wont work:mapset.img
Unpack in folder before running install.bat

But to see it on pc just use img and Basecamp

Tried on a Nokia E52 and it works without any problems.

So far I know, you can use the map, but you dont't see paths and so on. In older Garmin devices, wich don't support the new "pro" maps it's better if you use the older maps. In this case the Topo Austria V2 would be better.

I would contradict this: You can see all paths, only the colored marks of regional and national trails are not displayed. But such marked trails you can download as tracks from other sources.

Hi everybody,

I have a little problem, I tried to find help in the tutorials, but still it doesn't work...:

I have Topo Germany v6 installed on my Edge 810 and I'd like to add Topo Austria v3. So I unlocked the img file with Protected Garmin File Toolkit 2.2.5.4 and added TOPOAustria_v3.img to the folder /Garmin/ on the SD. Unfortunately the map data is not found by the Edge...
Is it not that easy?
Second question: The file "010-D1199-00.db" belongs into the folder /Garmin/SQL/? Do I have to rename it to "TOPOAustria_v3.db"?

Would be great to get some help of you guys...

You must rename the IMG file from TOPOAustria_v3.img to gmapsupp.img

You do not need to rename the db file

Download the .img , unlock it, copy the .img in an sd in a Garmin folder, attach it USB at your pc- Open Basecamp.
Sorry I don't have that file anymore, better to use original files, Topo pro maps are made for Basecamp.
