To find the type and the subtype of an object, TYPViewer can help you.

With TYPViewer you can make typ files including a wide range of objects (e.g POI from 0x100/00 to 0x10F/1F).
Those typfiles change the color of the object so that the html value of the color includes the type and the subtype of the object.

So disable the shading in Basecamp (look in the registry).
With TYPViewer , link the special typ to your mapset (menu "Tools/Install a TYP file...")
Then use the color picker of TYPViewer ( menu "Tools/Color Identifier") to identify the color and so the type/subtype of the object)
If you don't see your object, try with another special typ file ...
Most of POI are in the range of 0x100/00 to 0x10F/1F , or 0x110/00 to 0x11F/1F or 0x00 to 0xFF with no subtypes
