If someone wants to do up a unlocked .IMG of the US they'll post it, but do you know that instead of waiting for someone else to do the work you can do the work yourself? You have CNNANT 2012.30 ready for download in post 1, and in the Software forum you'll find various programs to unlock the maps. In the Tutorials section you'll find tutorials on how to actually unlock the maps. So really, there's no reason for you to wait for a USA .IMG when you have everything you need right here. I'll even make things simpler and provide you my [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] on how to unlock the maps. It seems using a smaller area map (the states or area I commonly drive), the GPS screens load faster. So customize the portion of the whole map, add it to the SD card for instance, then if you want to go to another area, either select the whole map (also loaded on the SD card or memory), or generate the new custom map.
