If your Megaupload / BT problem is based on DNS filtering you might try another DNS than the one offered by BT. Either change the DNS settings or make an entry for Megaupload in your host file.
I've also added 3 Multiupload mirrors in post #1.

Prevent third-party censorship

Using OpenDNS frees you from the DNS censorship that is imposed by some governments and puts you back in charge.

The OpenDNS IP addresses (IPv4) are as follows:

Using hardcoded IP resolving in the hosts file.
Edit the "%SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts" file and add:

Editing and saving "hosts" in Windows Vista or Win 7 needs administrator rights. Open editor like notepad with right-click and run as Administrator. %SystemRoot% normally expands to C:\Windows.
If the IP address changes then the hosts entry will be outdated and needs updating.
