    Are you sure you dont have 2 maps with the same FID ?
    Lake district has FID 400 .
    I donnow which one are you using ,but Great Britain National Parks 1-50K one has FID 400, while Garmin GB Discoverer 1:50K - Full Coverage has FID 2043.

    I dont think so. Is there an app that will tell me what the FID is?

    At one point I formatted my SD card and put only the Lake District map on it and it still wouldnt show, so I assume its not a clash between two maps.

    You can use Gmaptool.
