    your unlock code corresponds to CNEU 2011.10 code :2204, not 800

    I'll delete soon these screens coz we can check your unit id from them, not safe, dont post it please on forum.

    Default RE: CX for nüvi 37xx - Creating UNL for MapID=800 & PID=1

    @wvy01

    First - The best practice for this kind of maps is to place them in a memory card. If your unit becomes inoperable and you have to send it to Garmin it will not be advisable to leave obvious evidence of "free" maps inside the main unit.
    It will of course work fine also to use the maps in main memory, but be aware of possible problems. If something is wrong with a certain map on a memory card just remove the card and reboot the unit. If the problem is in main memory you might end up with a annoying hard reset instead.

    Second - Since all CX maps for nüvi 37xx here uses MapID=800 & PID=1 the it will be easier to create just one unlock code for all maps here. Just use the file [Unit drive or memory card drive]:\Garmin\gmapsupp.unl" to store the unlock code.
    In this case you can have Madrid, London, Paris etc. without the need to create UNL-files for each of them. The "gmapsupp.unl" file can store multiples of 25-char codes but you only need one code for all 800/1 maps. If you want to store other codes for other maps also inside "gmapsupp.unl" they should be continously added without delimiters or CR/LF.
    All this is already described in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    EDIT - update: The usage of "gmapsupp.unl" to handle all CX MMR-data unlocks for FID=800 might not work any longer. In that case you just need to copy your CX_some_city.unl file to CX_some_other_city.unl.

    Third - If you're using a memory card and don't know the CID (card ID). Press the battery icon in upper right corner (~8 seconds) to enable diagnostics mode.
    Press "Next" twice and look at the "Data Card Test Page". Read the "Serial" data to be used as CID. Use CID instead of UnitID with JM KG.

    To test the cityXplorer Madrid you either have to have a satellite fix in that area or simulate a current position in the coverage area.

    My experience:
    I can see CXs and use EPM with FID 800 made with my unit id even if I put them in sd-
    I never used sd id-
    Can someone test it?

    Yes it will work with booth UnitID and/or CID as the parameter for creating the unlock code. The problem would be that the memory card can't be "portable" and fully functional in another unit if unlock codes are based on UnitIDs. Otherwise no problems at all with the specific unit and UnitID that was used to create the unlock code.
    One advantage of using the CID is that it's not connected to Garmin and stored with your myGarmin account. The risk of publicizing any of your CIDs would be minimal compared to posting your UnitID in plain text.

    37xx is very hard to be bricked. !
    Just get rebooting loop with the wrong files inside. --> Cure Rom is the answer.

    Just get in rebooting loop. (for flashing with the same hwid rgn file)--> The solution is flashing back with original firmware.
    Just say "Software Missing" (for flashing with different hwid rgn file) --> The solution is flashing back with original firmware.
    Just say "GIR Mismatch" (for flashing with the wrong resources.bin) --> The solution is flashing back with original firmware.

    But I agree with you about the map in sd card.

    I unlock the map cityXplorer sao paulo 2012.10 with Garmin Unlocker Alternative v6.02 and then the key begotten by JM-KG-5 v1.5 Fix Checksum Digit with FID: 800 e PID: 1 does not work and the pedestrian mode.
    I wonder if the procedure is the same and why it does not enable the pedestrian mode.

    @hacsat

    The map data inside this special maps in this thread are already unlocked. You will just need to unlock EPM (Enhaced Pedestrian Mode) data in the MMR sub file with FID=800 & PID=1 as unlock parameters for JM KG.

    Using an unlocker a 2nd time on files from this thread might corrupt the files.
    Downloading a cityXplorer from another thread with original files won't work with nüvi 37xx since FID is not patched in those files.

    I have a Nuvifone A50 which I understand works with any maps. I've downloaded the map for Melbourne but I cannot find instructions on how to activate the enhanced pedestrian mode. While I have downloaded "Garmin_kgen_1.5+Fix.exe", I can't seem to find what numbers to put in for those fields to unlock. Furthermore, even without pedestrian mode activated, I am not seeing any changes to my maps although I have already ticked it in "Navigation".

    The maps I tried were named "37xx Melbourne_2012_10_Sensis.img" and "Melbourne_2012_10_Sensis.img".

    Any help is appreciated.
