Arrow RE: CNEUNT 2011.30 ASR files

Trying a download for a nüvi 885 gives the same SRX and ASR files as for the nüvi 37xx series.

    Extract from "&APPDATA%\GARMIN\Map Update\SetupLog.txt":

Thank you ballebar! Can anyone with an 8xx confirm these ASR Files from 3790 work for Find Address function? Also, does anyone know the name of at least one ASR file for NA CNNT 2011.30 so I can continue searching for them? Thank you.

    Edit 11-25

I can now confirm that these 3790 2011.30 EU CNNT ASR files do NOT work in my 885T when placed on the SD Card in a \garmin\asr sub-directory. There is not enough room to place either the EU ASR's or the EU IMG file internally and keep NA 2011.20 CNNT with its ASR files... The EU 2011.30 CNNT map, currently gmapsupp.img on the SD card in the \garmin directory works fine. The POI files residing in the POI sub-dir of the \garmin directory as well as TravelGuideEurope work fine from the SD Card's \garmin\POI location.

The attempted Finds for the EU area do not work. The failure message is the typical one: There is no speech recognition for this language or this location, (not quoting it precisely) when trying an address search for both England and Italy. Using Voice Command works for Address search when starting from Maryland and thence trying to change the country from US to Italy worked but stopped dead as soon as Italy was selected, the same with England. I was under the impression that since I can place POI and JCV files on the SD Card and they are recognized and used from the SD Card, ASR files would also work from there. Perhaps the voice command request is seeing the internal ASR directory and not seeing the EU ASR files being present causes the error? Two different ASR directories may be the cause of the failure or is it supposed to be able to work from either or any ASR directory?

    Default Mac problem

Anyone out there with a Mac who might help with this?

I installed the software on a PC with no problem. I used the patched 6.16.3 Mapsource and then the code from JetMouse. The maps are unlocked on Mapsource and I can transfer them to my GPS. So far so good.

When I opened the MapConverter app it gave me a message to say that the file was already in Mac format, so I copied the .gmap file across to the Mac and installed it in the Application Support folder as normal. But when I open Basecamp it gives me a message to say that the Europe 2011.30 map is locked and cannot be shown in detail. Sure enough, it's there, but no detail. Anyone help please?
