Relieved to find out there's nothing I did wrong. The map from post #27 (FID 2309) is simply not compatible with nüvi 3** units as I found out today on the Garmin website:

I'm happy dskmb took the effort of creating and posting the (unlocked) FID 281 version in post #68.

Check also isnt named gmapsupp.img.img, enable estensions in windows to check.

I did download the locked version and unlocked it with Fast IMG Unlocker. The fact everything works fine when inserting the SD card into the nüvi 250W, tells me the folder and file on the SD card as well as the SD card itself are fine. Yet, no joy on the nüvi 350...

I'm having Garmin Xt mate for symbian, It has the base map only, So I shall copy that file straight away or it needs to be rename ?

I tried to make a self-made mapsource version from City Navigator India with gmaptool. 2010.20 works fine, but 2010.30 doesn't work. Any idea?

Anyone has got any Luck with Garmin City Navigator India NT 2010.40 ? Thanks in Advance.
