Nice to Know it is working in Nuvi systems too. I have checked this in Symbian and Windows Mobile based Systems only so far.

Now Waiting for getting the City Navigator NT 2010.40 which covers 600+ cities. This map is available on garmin india web site.
Not able to download even for money, as it is only for Garmin Nuvi Systems registered with Garmin.

Relieved to find out there's nothing I did wrong.

The map from post #27 (FID 2309) is simply not compatible with nüvi 3** units as I found out today on the Garmin website:

I'm happy dskmb took the effort of creating and posting the (unlocked) FID 281 version in post #68.

I had a old nuvi 310 and this work just fine, using it and tested it in India

I used Fast IMG unlocker v 1.5. and I see this message

have you copied your map in gps? With which name and where ? Your unit cant see your India map-

I have this file gmapprom size 235mb
I have unlocked this via GarminUnlockerAlternativev5.71 & put it back in Garmin folder, Do I have to rename t ?

If i go in Manage my date - Map sets - Its showing
Worldwide roads basemap E\Garmin
Detailed maps
built in maps
city navigator india

I did it right ?

Ps : If I go to POI its says no poi available + go to garmin site.
Please help guys.

Use the file in post 68 it's already unlocked , copy it in a Garmin folder in sd, no need .unl file ,but
IMG and directory naming depends on your device-
We cant guess which Garmin devices users have-
Try to be precise in your help requests and before take a look here

I'm having Garmin Xt mate for symbian, It has the base map only, So I shall copy that file straight away or it needs to be rename ?

GMXT supports maps named:
gmapsupp.img
gmapsup2.img
gmapprom.img
