Is that available in a file saved to an SD?
In my 62st in saved tracks i can see quote, distance, date, time and position of saved points. These are viewable in Basecamp and saved in a file.
In gps look in the GPX folder for the files .gpx.The current.gpx file contains your actual Trip Log (track) and saved Favorites.

It does record depth, doesn't it? Must one pay Garmin for this information, or is it just hidden in Easter Eggs, to be discovered?
    I know, that's three questions.
I donnow, never own a plotter but in specs i can read :•Auto Guidance technology searches through all relevant charts to create a route you can actually follow - one that avoids obstacles, shallow water, buoys and other obstructions and these tracks can be saved as well as waypoints to an SD card

My 765T has a popup right after the warning page every time boot up shows that "There are locked data files on your device". But I can't find any locked files in it and I can use the detailed map and 3d map for navigation without any issue.
Then I deleted all map files in /Garmin folder. Unfortunately, the popup still there. That's weird. There's not even a map file. What else is able to be locked?
My 765T runs 4.0 frimware and trying to load North America 2011.30 map.
    How to solve this problem?
PS: I had deleted gmapprom.gma mistakenly when I was deleting *.sum files with no backup.

You need a GMA file to unlock something you have. You should be able to retrieve your unlock codes (and the GMA file) from my.garmin.com. Insert your unit usb go to the myMaps tab, click here
    JWyhp

then you will get this page

    tUpfE

scroll down and hit 'Retrieve Unlocks'. That will install the gma file for you.

Thanks for your helping. But it doesn't work.

myMaps shows my device has a purchased 2010.40 map. "Retrieve Unlocks" sent me a set of (two) 2010.40 unlock codes to MapSource in my computer with comment "Region unlock code from *-*-*-*-*.gma."(hide my device id by *). Of course the 2010.40 map is not installed. Then I downloaded 2010.40 mapsource file and copied to the right place to make MapSource recognize it. The first unlock code unlocked 2010.40 map successfully. However, there's another unlock code still shows "Map product not installed" in Map Product Manager. I guess it is for 3D map or JCV or ASR?

Then I sent a 2010.40 map to my device. Sure it sent a .gma file as well. But it still shows "There are locked data files in your device" when GPS boot up. Although there's only 2010.40 map with its .gma file in device.

    What else can I try?

you should have *.gmas in your nuvi , it's mapsource who sends them to your unit when installing maps and it should send all the *.gmas needed for the map you downloaded.Enable hidden files in windows and check in system folder
You could use Fast IMG Unlocker to unlock - Btw I dont have any GMAP3D.gma in my unit, but I have a 9 digits.gma probably added with the last map update.
But IMHO i'd redownload the map directly in the unit with mapupdater to be sure to have all the needed files.
    ASR and JCV arent locked

I have the same problem with a 765T, whenever I turn it on without a SD Card in it, it says I have "locked files", but the only maps there are the official maps with the .gma .
I have always had the .gmas from Garmin, same date as the GMAPPROM and GMAP3D, but the message continues...

If I turn the GPS on with a SD card that has an unlocked map, it does not say this message.
Could this problem be related to not being able to use the 3D buildings IMG files (only in in newer maps)?

    Please, any ideas?

    Thanks!

Hi ,i picked up a GTM 25 Traffic Receiver. It is marked Garmin GTM 25 with a circle at E11 in circle after the Garmin name.
    It also has 10R-024450.
Can some one tell me what this puppy is? I am thinking that is the European Version, but the 10R-024450 does not match the part numbers on Garmin's website.
    Thanks ,Crys

Licence is in gps, but you must activate it connecting it to the TMC
    from Garmin FAQ:
To activate the free Lifetime NAVTEQ traffic subscription that came with your Garmin unit, please perform the following steps:
    perform the following steps:

1.Plug the GTM 20/GTM 25/GTM 35/Vehicle power cable into the vehicle and then into the GPS device or cradle*
2.Power your GPS device on and allow it to acquire a satellite signal
3.Touch View Map from the Main Menu on your GPS device
4.Allow the device time to receive a FM traffic signal (this may take a few minutes within a NAVTEQ traffic coverage area)
The following along with additional information concerning your traffic receiver can be found in the Owner's Manual of your device:

When you are receiving traffic information, a traffic icon appears on the map. The traffic icon changes color to indicate the severity of traffic conditions.
