Thread: nuvi 610 has white screen after flashed with wrong firmware

Then I had some problems with the device and I have found on the other forum some informations about the cure method.
There was a link with Cure FW and with the instructions how to do it.
The FW was integrated in the Updater on that version.
The device then could enter pre boot mode normaly.
But it was a wrong FW, not as it was written that it is for Nuvi 6xx series.
And I flashed the device with wrong FW in pre boot mode and after that the screen was white, probably because od different display drivers.
The device could not enter the pre boot mode any more, but the Webupdater could recognize the device as Nuvi 310 SW 2.30 and offered an update to version 5.20 and I tried to see what will happen and the device was updated.
After that I did not know what to do and I formated the device to FAT 32, but before that I made some backup for the device with wrong flashed FW.
I have no backup for original FW before I flashed the device.

Now when I put back the backup files to the device the Webupdater can see the device as Nuvi 310 SW 5.20.
