It's flashed with wrong firmware but still has Mass Storage Mode available to format it, plus it turns on so there is some hope to restore it. Lack of preboot is not a positive sign however. Certainly HWID 0596 firmware contains the rrgn/ergn/xrgn commands to use in a txt file on SD card. The problem might be that it won't read from SD (i) because you've flashed a foreign fw to it which may not have the *rgn commands in it; or (ii) It may not be getting far enough in the boot process to read from SD. Please state what fw has been flashed to it and give a link to it.
