did you have issue to update nuvi 2545 with western europe map 2013 for not enough free space?

did you delete the map (1 file or the 3 files?) and run mapupdater.exe again and it works?

does map updater delete some files in your garmin?

I mean if you delete some files , like voices ,help files and other to make free space

but what does the sid file contain ? points of interest? restaurant...

He deleted /.system/gmapprom.img (only)

This is your primary map, It is by far the biggest file in your nuvi.
If you decided to try it just backup your whole nuvi on your computer including the hidden /.system folder. (Nuvi must be in Mass storage mode)

If you dont use voice command you can delite all inside ASR folder and you will have 1Gb free space

Sorry loly...but 2545 comes with ASR. Even if it had this feature enabled with modding, would not work if the map Europe is not complete/full (and there is)

Nuvi 2545 rosanna buy without ASR.....update maps 2013.30 (LifeTime) with EU 24 Countries (original)....but without ASR (ASR2 installed from originally Garmin with EU Full... for example nuvi 2595).

Folder ASR (if exist) is empty (originally)...

I use Garmin LifeTime Maps Updater: np

Hi,
I'm starting to think that there is something strange about this whole thread.
Why, The OP never comes back to give some feedback, asking strange questions etc etc.
There was a strange one a while ago also with username sucro.

Sucro name changed to something else and he was suddenly Administrator.
Then he dissapear.
Maybe it's some king of test or something.
