Mine only takes long after firmware upgrade. (20 Minutes)
After hard reset about 2 minutes max.
Normally (no hard reset or anything) as long as it takes to drive down to the street.
Yeah, i knowbut chose to misunderstand it so i could slip in the jibe about shooting down satellites
.
Dasilvarsa & i live in 'third world' ex-british colonies and, unlike our rich european cousins, can no longer afford to smoke or buy expensive electronics, so have found another way to drive ourselves to an earlier grave and torture ourselves constantly by owning low-end garmin products. You would say, be cheaper to wear a hair-shirt and sleep on a bed of nails, but i say not as much misery.I am smoker, and if idle time more then 5-6 minutes I pull out next cigarette. That is why I don't love the 1ххх series model especially today. I have a Nuvi models which is more useful for my health. :Animated59:
Seriously though, Giomen, i reckon time to first fix of 8 to 13 minutes is not too shabby in less than ideal conditions and Eph. 8-10 sats. with 6-10m accuracy is also acceptable in 'real world environment' of built-up/city areas. What say you, dasilvarsa? I bet you can add to the defense of our beloved, highly modded and pimped-up 1300s.

Mines often 'ready to navigate' before i've got into gear. But i must have been wrong about the hard reset..must be only firmware change and clear non-vol that cause the unit to re-aquire the complete satellite almanac.
