Thread: using a G2 vision map with a 78s device

Hey, I've done the operation on the Garmin VEU014R-Italy, Adriatic Sea Bluechart G2 Vision (10.50).[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
unfortunately, almost all subfile contain a "bitmap", and when I have removed them, I come up with a 20Mo file that is not working any more.
Any advise ? I am flying next month to Croatia.

There is obviously a big difference in the G2 version layouts.
I can only play with what I have.

My mapsets - note they are mostly older versions.

VPC416S-New Zealand North (11.50) 26.08.2010
VPC022R-East Coast Australia (10.50)
VPC020R-Brisbane SW to Geraldton (10.50)
hxpc024R-AUS/NZ Marine Detail g2i v3.00 - 2007
VPC417S-New Zealand South (10.50)
VPC021R-Mackay NW to Esperance (10.00)
VPC410S-Esperance to Exmouth Bay (10.50)


The VPC416S-New Zealand North mapset is the only v11.50 I have here.
It does contain a single file beginning with V - V0000038 - only 20KB in size.
GMapTool did not report the file as having any "Bitmaps" so it was included in the new mapset.

As reported earlier everything here appears to be unbroken.
Tides, POI etc all still work for me with this mapset and the others.

Unfortunately it now appears that it is not working for some with other (newer?) G2 charts. :angry:
