OK, bit of an update.
On my laptop with os XP and Bluechart 2008.5, with WAAS disabled on my 76cx nRoute is working a little better, the gps signal is definitely held longer but eventually looses connection and then becomes intermittent.
PS.with WAAS disabled the gps signal was held for approx 25 seconds, with WAAS enabled the gps signal was only held for 5 seconds..gif "beating")
