Ok, I've updated the jnx2img. New version is available from the same link in the first message of this thread.

And I've also modified batch_convert.cmd script, so it won't require to press a key after each processed file:

    Thanks Alex

Problem resolved - this now works perfectly and generates random MapIDs and it all goes seamlessly in the batch conversion too - an excellent solution.

My jnx converted to img have been working perfectly within basecamp, but I have not been able able to get them work on my handheld Garmin Astro 320 or Astro 430 (which i believe are basically the same as the GPSMAP 64. I get a blank spot in the map where my birdseye should be. Any suggestions which settings to try?

Is your GPS unlocked to view birdseye? What directory do you have the .jnx in?

I'm having the exact same problem in my RV 770. All other jnx maps in it are working fine.
The converted jnx looks very impressive in Basecamp but the map shows blank in the device. The bounds of the sheet are positioned correctly but no details showing.

Edit: It looks like the RV770 displays JNX fine but may not be compatible with raster .img maps. The raster maps I created otherwise work ok in a Rino 650.

I no longer have an active birdseye subscription on my Astro 320. I have jnx birdseye maps I can view. I have other birdseye maps that I've converted to IMG files with this jnx2img converter. These are in the Garmin directory in the SD card. I can view the map, but it displays as a blank spot on my top map

    Hello

    @WHISKEYPORTAL

Is your GPS unlocked to view birdseye? What directory do you have the .jnx in?
It is not essential to unlock the GPS. And that's the advantage of .img files.

    @ dogtracker

(which i believe are basically the same as the GPSMAP 64.
Have you tested your .img files on a GPSMAP64?

    Hi Friends.
I´m trying to create some raster .img files.
I created the open Street map files with Global mapper 20.
Then I converted them to .jnx files with the Mobat2jnx.
Now, I´m trying to convert them in .jnx files with Jnx2img but I have an error.

"Error processing JNX file: ´06E70766´is not a valid integer value MTX file was not created. Exiting.

The MOBAT2JNX is the latest versión I downloaded (last week)

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks Friends.

I cannot understand your attempt. Open street maps are vector maps with routing function and you can download them for free in Garmin-format.
Why you want to convert them to raster maps, gettig bigger file size and loosing the routing?

    Hi

    Must be a compiler problem

Look in the Tools folder if you have the bld_gmap32 and gmt compilers and in the bld_gmap32 folder the TestLicence.mpl file
