would it not be possible to modify the allocation of scales and levels of an IMG file with a tool?
    between the level 200m to 20m ?

in SASPlanet with a JNX export you can choose the zoom and the level, so I wanted to export to JNX and then convert it to IMG, but I have two problems:
    - The export to JNX is split into several files: part1, part2... for a single export. JNX2IMG command does not support multiple part of files ?
    - I got errors when converting JNX 2 IMG, about levels and scales

the point here is that I assign a different custom raster map between each zoom
    3 zooms = 3 custom maps

    Hello,

1 In the Tools directory, do you have a bld_gmap32 directory and a gmt directory?

    2. Have you copied TestLicence.mpl into the directory bld_gmap32

there us no .log file in the temp dir but there are over 100 jpegs and an mtx file with same named prefix as .log file

anyway, no img file was created...workjing on it

[edit]: I got it working by putting the entire contents of MPC's bld_gmap32 into jnx2img's

    Hello hwdean,

It was written on page 1

After you unpack the archive, there will be Tools folder with two subfolders.
Please copy the contents of MPC\Tools\bld_gmap32 folder into extracted Tools\bld_gmap32 folder, and also copy you MPC license file into the same folder with License.mpl name.
Next, copy gmt.exe file from GmapTool\gmt.
Make sure the script will have permissions to create and delete subfolders in the folder it is extracted to.
That's it for the initial setup.
When I first started, I made the same mistake and it was Alex who corrected me.

I have converted some separate 1-25k and 1-50k topo maps of the same areas from JNX to IMG format using Alex's method.

In GMapTool, I changed the draw priority of the 1-25k maps to 31 and the 1-50k maps to 25 with the intention that on zooming-in the map would change from 1-25k to 1-50k at 200m. In my GPS device, each map is visible if selected individually, however if both the 1-50k and 1-25k maps are enabled at the same time, the 1-50k is the only map that displays on zooming-in.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?
