Hi sorry , i'am trying since some weeks to give a second life to my NUVI 660T FM but i can't , i downloaded from here the CNEUnt 2015.2 unlocked img , putted this img on a sd card in a garmin folder ; when i open it with basecamp patched i don't see how to send this map on my device although it's listed on basecamp ; so i tryed tu put directely the sd card on the gps unit but the map isn't detected , also i 'm asking my self if there are not some files missing on my device ( because of older manipulations ) please can you look at the picture a post here and tell me where to find missing files and if my trouble can come from those missing files??
thanks for helping me , i would like so much that this devices works again...

I cant see your new gmapprom.img in that screen. There are no maps in nuvi.
I don't see a sd screen so I don't know if it's present or not.
You need a basemap (gmapbmap.img ) and a timezone map (gmaptz.img) in nuvi too.
Install Garmin USB drivers and connect nuvi to your pc and run Garmin Express first, then update files.
Basemap can be found on forum, check Maps Index.
After that copy the new .img unlocked named gmapprom.img to Garmin folder in unit or named gmapsupp.img in sd.
Note: Garmin's older model devices that support an SD card larger than 4GB but are not able to use a map file that is larger than 2GB:
    Code:

You need to install CN pc version to send the .img you need to nuvi.
For pc install unlocking follow [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

ok thanks for helping me , i'm downloading garmin express ; but for my basemap i think i have erased it by error in the past when trying to update ...how can i recover it?

for the new gmapprom.img , i putted it in a garmin folder on a sd car that is placed in the device ; the screen shot i have shown is only the content of the garmin folder that is directely on the gps device memory.

if cannot find a basemap file to put inside my device , can it work from a map in the sd card??
    thx
edit : now i 'm searching for basemap on forum ( sorry didnot seen it at the first read)

i think it will be more simple for me to download unlocked mapsource data and to send map from mapsource in the device ,

gmaptz.img is not supported by Nuvi 660 and the best way do not put it in device.

What is why the old man go to here for shaking our bones. I do not say about old fellow Neil which try to strike in the eye at every opportunity.

Many times old is better than new and nuvis often are no exception.

Thanks for the [questionable] honourable mention G. I've got a heap of old units and I love playing with the older devices such as nuvi 3x0/6x0.

I've found a simple way to flash a new basemap to my 4 old StreetPilots, the ones which came with regional Pacific, Atlantic or America Basemap pre-loaded to region 3, also many older outdoor units could benefit. They're a bit of a pain if you're using one in another area of the world even though the oem basemaps also have an abbreviated 'world' component. I'll finish the 'how-to' and post a Tutorial with some ready-to-flash map packs. Some other old f@rts might be interested, even Giomen could maybe have a look [if he can get my fingers out of his eyes that is].
