I think nuvifone supports cityxplorers and you can use fid800 maps in map folder with the .unl code made with JM as explained in post one and in my linked tutorial, i cant explain it better
Thanks for replying catymag. I've already spend hours pouring through the tutorials and I couldn't find anything specific to my phone. If you intend for me to infer, the sheer amount of tutorials makes it impractical, even with the use of 'search'. And inferring means experimenting, costing even more hours. This is when posting for help is more helpful. If a specific solution for the nuvifone A50 is not available, then a link to something similar or close to it would also be helpful.

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Garmin published CXs without EPM too, eg. :
you can read in coverage:Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
*Coverage area map shows major roads, highways and points of interest only. Enhanced pedestrian navigation features are not included with cityXplorer Christchurch.

Small CX and CNE must be the same version.
Small CX adds EPM to the existing CNE version, no CNE (same version) = non working CX.

Btw we have a thread for EU CX, this thread is for single modded CXs for 3xxx nuvis and newer , all this discussion here about EU CX is off topic.

@sbog
It will if you de-select the other map. Don't mix versions or types of map covering the same area by selecting them together on your unit. Enable them one at a time only.

@Neil
i usually do this way, but i've noticed that if to forget to deselect one map while selecting some other covering the same area - nothing awful occurs: my device gives priority to one of them.
Thank you! Will it work on nüvi50?
You've got lucky, and mostly it will be ok. But if there is conflicting info and you are in that spot you will have problems. Better not to tempt fate, especially if you are in the middle of a big unknown city or on a busy unfamiliar freeway. A 'nuvi hissy fit' may result and be most inconvenient. Either use the same versions or deselect one.
Very easy to check yourself:
But I'm in a good mood, so..... Hint: Yes! But not Enhanced Pedestrian Mode.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
