I have just tried on my 1490T and it works very well.
Just unlock the .unl files with Garmin Unlock Generator v1.5 with FID #2204 and PID #2 and remix with Fast IMG Unlocker 1.4

I forgot to tell you to put the .unl files WITH the .img files in your device
