I have couple of the 1300 series and they only had the "T" for traffic. If you wanted map updates you had to pay back then.
Plus this series have long since expired and no longer supported.

A lie goes around the internet before anyone ever fact checked it if it is true or not. In most cases no one ever check anything they just accept it as fact.....
