When dealing with copyright issues, forums need to follow the law. And the law said, ONLY the copyright holder of a product may controlled it. Like I said, Cyclops is the copyright holder of Cyclops alerts and only they can request DMCA for it to be removed. If Garmin hold the right to every technology they used (have contract with), then they can request any JPEG, MP3, OGG posts to be removed and that is nonsense. And if you're going to follow the law that no copyright material are not allowed without DMCA, then pretty much every groups need to be enforced.

We are not lawyers, least I'm not. The answer might be able to give us some of this profession. But the issue is also a contract between the two companies.
And why risk it? If it is not a free (and they are not), someone might get angry.

We all RESPECT and LIKE GPS POWER but this what is now is no more GPS POWER you can change name to GPS powerlessness and please don't destroy our memories to real GPS POWER.

Yep, pretty much ALL forums must be on the edge for it to be "popular." So unless it was a DMCA from Cyclops, I think it's ok to post. If Garmin feel that it's a violation, then they can asked Cyclops to DMCA and it will be removed.

I have all understood for a long time what happens and this from the beginning (even that I think the most recent backup was on pc to Catymag (except if deceives me), but here we talk about cyclop, but it's the same for all the tools and share that had on GPSPower, even "NOEMAN" to be planted at the same time as Catymag,it's why I added: "Good as well close shop! Slovenac, be polite and ne lupetaj.
Milk and ownership rights have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Nor is it in any way comparable. Those people who are relying on such an attitude, can pay a lot, also they can go and in prison. West is not a Balkan.
I did not say anything about the fall of the server, on the contrary, I guessed like everybody else. But. Two messages were enough to figure out what happened. To what else to other ignore, it is their problem.
