When dealing with copyright issues, forums need to follow the law. And the law said, ONLY the copyright holder of a product may controlled it. Like I said, Cyclops is the copyright holder of Cyclops alerts and only they can request DMCA for it to be removed. If Garmin hold the right to every technology they used (have contract with), then they can request any JPEG, MP3, OGG posts to be removed and that is nonsense. And if you're going to follow the law that no copyright material are not allowed without DMCA, then pretty much every groups need to be enforced.
