You've probably killed it by flashing the 3597 fw, particularly it's boot.bin. Now that it won't turn on and therefore can't reach preboot there seems no way effective way to flash the dezl 770 fw back to it. Maybe one of our software experts can work some magic but it seems hopeless.

While you're waiting for more opinions, take it into a very dark room then press the power button and look if there's a very feint glow from the screen.

If it starts somehow (not completely dark screen) as Neil wrote, there is a faint hope.

Then there is also feint hope. If the screen is responsive you may be able to reach preboot mode. If preboot's not possible then maybe something can be done using txt commands via SD but first let's see if preboot is available, we won't actually try to flash anything:
    • Drag any RGN file [the one you used before will do] onto Updater.exe then leave the GUI open and visible on the PC's desktop
    • Connect a suitable microUSB cable to a REAR port of PC
    • Check the dezl is fully off. In the dark room, press and hold the power button for ~10 seconds until the screen goes completely dark [you may also hear a slight 'pop' from the speaker]
    • IMMEDIATELY the screen goes off, press and hold the dezl screen firmly in the top Left corner and get back to the PC quickly [you'll only have seconds to try this, if you aren't quick to hold the screen the device will try to re-boot and you'll have to start again. If the device gives a sound when forced off you can try again at the PC]
    • Connect the USB cable to the dezl watching the GUI, if any details appear in the window to the right of 'USB Device' take note of what it says [DON'T press OK or any Keyboard key]

PS: You only need to try this if the advice given by PM from catymag doesn't work for you.

I understand from your PM that the glow only lasts for >1 second. This is bad, because there is not enough time for the boot process to begin to allow it to read the SD which only leaves preboot.

So, if the screen is not working for touch and you cannot get it to enter preboot in that short momentary period when it turns on then it's finished. If it can catch preboot it will stay in it for a short time, maybe only 10 or 15 seconds.

Try this in the dark room: Press and hold top left of screen firmly and power it on. Hopefully the glow will then remain longer than just for a moment, around 10-15 secs indicating it's entered preboot.
