It is only an estimated time and 10 minutes is not bad.
Only if you still have 10 min on the clock after arriving I might be wondering why...

Thanks for the reply Downunder. But when using navcore 8.398 arrival times were a lot better. With 9.700 it has the same arrival time even if I drop the max speed setting by 10 kph something is not right. I also updated the map to v 900 don’t know if this makes a difference ?

I've not read about any actual improvements from 8.398 which is generally rock solid, but many people just think newer is better but that ain't always the case!! If it ain't broke, don't fix it is my motto (hence I'm one of many still running Windows XP rather than all the new/fancy stuff)

Hi luddite Biggerdave, :-)
Windows 7 is as rock solid as xp and 8.398, my advice should you be tempted is partition your harddrive in two so you can add win7 or better still buy a fresh harddrive to put it on, both methods will give you the option of booting into windows7 or xp on start up, this way you gain but dont loose as you will always have a spare os to boot into should one go wrong, i have xp, 7 and 8 to boot into on a 1 terrabyte drive, you can add a new os in addition to an older os but not the other way round ie, win7 first then xp for instance, this of course wont be a problem for yourself as you already have xp installed.
jazz.

IMHO the update was only to make sure future map features are fully supported.
Since the "normal" X20/X30 uses now a V9 TT had to act.
I would say another update is due after the next round of maps - but that's only my opinion![]()

IMHO we'll see next TRUCK map with 810 format... Or maybe - we'll have 2 different maps (770 and 810 formats)
It would not surprise me if TT changes the map system completely.
Reason is pretyy simple:
Right now not only the NC10+ map updates come as hash secured updates, but the maps for official Works customers are delivered in a similar way.
Same for the corresponding Navcores.
TT knows as son as you use your device with Home if you have an official or unsupported Navcore installed.
The contents of ttgo.bif, .bak and ori are transfered as well as the installed map(s) and additional voices.
Most obvious choice would be to either delete non genuine maps/Navcores when connecting to Home or to block the TT account for the user/device.
The server security was upped to prevent the illegal downloads of maps already.
All it takes would be a necessary update to support the next map generation - and it is no real problem for TT to change the bootloader and use the same encrypted system used on Carminat Live for example.
Let's hope TT still values our support and beta testing for them so they won't stop ud completely![]()
