cant seem to get any slots to download this been trying for two days now
Thanks to DSA8310 it is now possible to create a "swap file" for the V9 NC's.
He also included a nice tool to update the GPS QuickFix data using an active data connection on your connected phone - so if compatible you can update on the go.
This NC also has support for asian maps and keyboard.
All possible emulations are included but not all may work for your device.
Also be aware that some features like FM, Lightsensor, ASR and TT services depend on the hardware and emulation too!
For example it is still not possible to use the lightsensor in any other than the native mode for your device.
Since not much testing could be done you should post your feedback here if you test this NC.
From initial tests on my 730 I have to say all works as it should and I get super fast route calculations with the current AU890.4278 map.

Note:
Most 32mb models will only support the SELF mode (it is the default mode after installation).
If your device is unresponsive, hangs or reboots after changing the emulation using the SkinChanger follow these steps:
1: open the file reskin in the folder skins with an editor
2: replace the line with slf-Self;slf-Self;17-Rider;34-ONE;35-XL;36-XL LIVE;37-GO x50;39-Start;18-GO x20;25-GO x30;24-GO x40
3: remove the emulation(s) that are not working for you
4: save the file, make sure that it has no file ending like .txt
For the QuickFix download you need to pair your phone first and have a working data connection.
To download simply tap the button in the menu.

Doesn't work on TomTom XL model 4ET03. 64mb. Freezes on boot up screen. Thanks for uploading it. I'm looking for an alternative V9.xxx navcore that has an MP3 player, will work with a usb TMC traffic receiver and sound works during navigation. Does such a navcore exist or do I have to by a new TomTom?
All you can do is try them out I'm afraid...

works perfect on my ONE V1. i removed slf-self in the reskin file, also deleted tts and asr, and now i can use the skin chooser (wasn't able before) and have 8.7MB free RAM. excellent, well done!
Have problem with automatic route recalculation on my ONEv3 (4N00.004.2) using this navcore.
It works great when I take eg. in the city different street, but when I drive out of town (and recalculation is probably more complicated) it recalculates the route, progressbar stops at 100% and then the device stops responding and after few seconds restarts by WD.
Memory seems to be OK, have similar numbers as tomtomlator in the post above...
Using map Central Europe 8.90 (4234), 2GB SD, new voice installed (official czech voice from tomtom), no other changes done.
Any ideas? Thanks!
If you downloaded it a few days agai try the new version I uploaded.
It has better settings and should cause less problems.
Other option would be to stick to the route and never leave it LOL

Sometimes Problem can be found with bad file mapsettings.cfg
Delete or rename mapsettings.cfg then run TT.
Hi Downunder
I am trying to download from linksave, but there a no free slots. Can you upload it somewhere else? It is imposssible to download from linksave. I am trying it for days now. It is a pitty, because this was nice to teset on 32 MB devices. But anyway, thanks for the great work you do for us all.
