Hmm, still doesn't work (have deleted the mapsettings, started device and then did factory reset from menu) - I THINK it behives differently however. It calculates new route (progressbar at the bottom of the screen goes to 100%), it redraws the map with new route highlited and the in freezez... after few seconds the whole device restarts by itself.

This seems to be a problem with saving the current route? Do you have some other ideas, pls?

I am trying to download from linksave, but there a no free slots. Can you upload it somewhere else? It is imposssible to download from linksave. I am trying it for days now. It is a pitty, because this was nice to teset on 32 MB devices. But anyway, thanks for the great work you do for us all.

    Register at tomtest.net,
use the online premium link generator and use the provided links to download at full speed.
You don't have to use your Emailaddress but one that you can check for the account activation.
    Works fine with most hosters.

It's the best NC ever on my TT One 3rd. I use x50 emu and it's got 10MB+ free ram. It finds satellites almost as soon as I switch it on. Amazing stuff. Thx.

Can you please tell me what exactly did you change? I'm not navcore expert :-(

The problems described above was (as I thing) using x40light emulation, but I have no idea how to change it :-(

Also, can you tell me, what map do you use and how quick is the route calculation?

    Thank you!

You change the emulation using the skin chooser in the menu.
If not present you might to have to manually edit the file "reskin" in the folder "skins" so that the desired emulation replaces the "self" at the beginning of the line.
I use the AU map and compared to the 9.004 the route calculation for most of my standard routes is about 30% faster now.

I think, you mean "/skins/reskin" not rwskin... I found it and edited the file... it seems working, and it's also much quicker than 9.101 (which is unusable on ONEv3 for longer routes). Will try it tomorrow traveling between legoland and disneyland :-D

    Cheers!

You're correct, I edited my previous postin to prevent confusion.
Keep in mind that after a cold start or reset the device will be slow untill all is written into the swap file

    Hi downunder!

Thanks for your hints and good work! I use your core on my ONEv3 and it works great! My findings/feedback:

    - works with x50 emu, self doesn't work for me (strange),
    - it's a bit slower, planning long routes (about 500km takes between 30s and 1 minute) - but it's reasonable for me, and I don't have problem to wait when planning such long route,
    - recalculation of routes is quick, always less than 10s, usually about 1s,
    - it stops for like 2 seconds before displaying ALG (Advanced Lane Guidance), but again - I don't thing it's a big problem,

In general the response of device is little bit slower... but it's old device with less computing power than new models and I'm happy I can use new maps and features!

I haven't have a chance to test other emulation modes and/or functions as I'm on the holiday trip and don't want to risk problems :-)

Btw. if anyone from you, guys, plan to visit disneyland, DON'T MISS the twilight zone / tower of terror. It's amazing! (...and your girlfriend can make it as well :-)
