I don't know why everywhere patched files ae popping up....
I thought we have tools for that and only need pre patched files for Navcores that can't be patched like the 8.041....
There might some total noobs out there but I think most users already used a patcher and if the have non genuine maps that have to use one anyway.
Don't get me wrong, but I don't see any use in posting those files.
If you want something for the user give him a patched Navcore that offers other emulations.

Currently installed emus: the original for your device, X20, X30, X40 ,X50, which should cover most needs.

    .
    You are right.
But I think you know perfectly well how many there are people who do not read those instructions, which we write for them. And they absolutely can not use any tool.
This patched file they have downloaded a night more than 200 times.
    That's such a clever, I do.:Animated102:

I have two TTs (one for the good lady)
I changed the two lines on the XL and everything worked perfectly, with a slight deviation - see below
I made the same change on the Go530 and the rewritten ttgo.bif just reverts back to the original version (8351) with no ttgo.ori. The saved ttgo.bak shows the 9400 lines
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

FYI - It was always my understanding that if you edit a file and save it with a different name, the original file remains unmodified.
This was case when I made the changes - so the statement "At this point, there is only a ttgo.bak file in the root, no ttgo.bif" is not true, and I deleted the original ttgo.bif just to be sure.
