if you have ORIGINAL backup, open ttgo.bif and look your bootloader version if it not 1.xxxx series then:
go here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Download SE Navcore 8.410.1218

run exe file, give your tomtom drive letter and replace all files.....start device again

right if i plug usb in i can do tt home anything it all works, i had earlier downloaded Navcore 8.544.1838 - 32MB i loaded the files on and still no go, how do i had reset as i cant see a reset like the others have
thanx again 4 helpin me, i really appreciate it, if i could get it working that would be brill bootloader used 5.5128

heres the original config
might of got it working now looks like the formatter i used (none windows) added another partition, i kill disked it and just used a normal windows format
