There are:
Recorded voices
Maria
Antonio
Marta
And Computer voices (TTS)
To use the Spanish computer voices your phone has to be in Spanish.
You can see if the computer voices are grayed out you can not install them.
If you phone is in English then only English TTS are there.
Under "Alert & Sounds"
You need to pick Visual, sound & verbal
What voice have you downloaded under "Download a Voice" ??
I have test this app on Android 8,9,10 and 11 and never had a problem with "voice guidance"
