    God your right there about NZ Voices they are 'Sucks puks of fush and Chups" I always use Karen voice thats the best one to use

    app works good but when phone screen is off the app shuts down. why is this?

    @deskhelp,

    Why would you turn off the screen while using any GPS app.
    What were you going to do is hit the power button to get the screen back on to known when to exit?

    You keep the screen on at all times when using a GPS app.

    It works for me.
    When I drive with the motorcycle, I have the phone in my jacket pocket, screen is of course switched off, sound combined with Bluetooth to the helmet speakers.
    Works wonderfully.

    Of course it works, you just have to allow background use.
    Can be set in the app, possibly in the device settings
