Yep something has changed to the original NDS does not have all the features of the MOD version "like truck/walking/hiking/bicycle/7 POI" who needs them anyway.
If you don't know your way around your own city/country then your in trouble of seriously getting lost.
I use it for fun "I like to hear Karen tell me to turn left or do a U turn even when I have added a manual reroute point."

Yes you are correct, most of them are unnecessary, however I plan to use it for a 8.000 km trip and there are some options (toll guidance, more pois visible etc) I would like to have.
Anyway, it's not the end of the world.

Unlike the MOD version, the center of the screen is not covered by a "green sticker" in the landscape. That's why I chose this version
