Yes you are correct, most of them are unnecessary, however I plan to use it for a 8.000 km trip and there are some options (toll guidance, more pois visible etc) I would like to have.
Anyway, it's not the end of the world.

Unlike the MOD version, the center of the screen is not covered by a "green sticker" in the landscape. That's why I chose this version
