It is very easy to overlook all the files that were originally installed on the phone. david0vich did not hurry, he analyzed everything in detail and gathered them in one place.

True, david0vich version works OK on a dutch language version telephone and dutch guidance voice. @Nens XAPK version gives english NDS version and wanted a english spoken voice. Said something of an incompatible voice by upgrading from previous to this new version. Now it's all in native language and voice. When your internal storage isn't big enough (on my phone < 5GB - Android 9), all data are stored at external SD Card
external_card/android/data/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds/files/NdsMaps.
Tested a few times. When internal storage is about 10GB, TomTom uses internal data partition, as @saomaohao wrote.

saomaohao, /data/data/com.your.apk./files/NdsMaps does not exist on my phone.
I have unlocked rooted Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 with MK100.0-lavender-202008010746-NIGHTLY installed.

OK, looked there (Root/sdcard/Android/data/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds.files.
There is only a empty map: ServiceConnectors.
The search for "com.tomtom.navapp.nds" in X-plore does not find anything. What am I doing wrong?
Found !!!!! But in:
