This is just some feedback. This is currently the latest version.
It is also available on the Play Store at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and works fine, except for the truck-specific features.

Hello. I purchased a one-year subscription to this app, and I am not satisfied at all. It won't launch without an internet connection because it checks for the subscription upon startup. Downloading maps is a real hassle; I am in Turkey, and the maps here are split into regions—there is no single map for the whole country. I use the app on both my phone and my car's multimedia system. Whenever I reset these devices, reinstalling the TomTom app and downloading the maps again is very difficult. Sometimes, even with an internet connection, it gives a "subscription not found" error. I regret buying it.

Sometimes it's slow to connect you are right, sometimes very long. But I think after last couple of updates it's fine.
About downloading maps, the same, sometimes fast, sometimes slow.
About the subscription problem, I never had an issue.
I use the app around 3,4 years now.
I am very happy because of the routing and the TMC.

No problem ever with running offline, on many devices
However, as far as the Turkish state itself is concerned, ybe aware that all Internet communications are under the strict supervision of the relevant authorities.

Test all my phones and tables with No WiFI and a couple of phones with no sim card and all worked offline with this GPS app.

This is how i managed to install tomtom, sygic, chuppito waze on my xiaomi phone and run it in AA.
1-Install kinginstaller
2-Restart your phone.
3-Install the Shizuku app from the Play Store.
4-Open the Developer Options menu on the phone and enable Wireless Debugging.
5-Open Shizuku and select "Pairing"
6-Go to Developer Options, tap "Wireless Debugging," and select "Pair device with pairing code." You will receive a code; enter it in the notification bar to complete the pairing..
7-Tap "Start" (within Shizuku).
After pairing, launch KingInstaller and select Shizuku.
8-Select the APK and choose "Install as King."
