i tested today tomtom 3.6.324_Car_Multilang_Patched on my Samsung galaxy S23 ultra,I used king installer 1.9.
I can confirm all works,also Android auto works.I got android 16.

I installed it on an old Samsung A50 with KingInstaller and it works. Also in Android Auto.

Is the truck mode on the TomTom Go Expert only available via a subscription?
Or is there a feature I need to activate that I can't find?

Why do you use Kinginstaller? It can be installed via the given APK

Yes you right,but king installer required only to enable android auto feature.
If you not using android auto, install just standard way

This is why I tell users read before you download and use KingInstaller:
Install packages "as Google Play Store" to work around restrictions! Useful for Android Auto.
If you are not needing Android Auto in your car or just install this GPS app on your phone, then there is no point to download and install KingInstaller.KingInstaller is a utility designed to install APK files in a way that tricks the system (and Android Auto) into thinking the application originated directly from the official Google Play Store, helping bypass specific app visibility restrictions.
